R.I.N. S.A. MARINE ENGINEERING founded the 27th march of 1974, is an experienced ship & container repair company with thirty one years working on float and dry-dock ship repairs and dry and reefer container repairs. RIN has the highest qualified staff of technicians in the region in all the repair areas, a permanent group of seventy specialized workers and several teams of eventual specialized workers.
Our company is carrying out about the 80% of the floating repairs in the Port of Montevideo and also manages dry-docking repairs using local, Argentinian and Chilean dry-dock facilities, due to the excellent relationship with the local and argentinians dry-docks and the character of representative of ASMAR/ SAEM/ SOCIBEL of Chile.-
The company performs almost all the jobs using its own machines and equipments including specialized electronic equipments for dynamic balancing, dynamometric loading tests up to 50 Tons, magnaflux tests, ultrasonic detections and X rays.
As underwater repairers, it has all the facilities for cleaning, welding, cutting and color video recording with radio communication with the divers underwater.-
On container repairs we are technically fully equiped and prepared and have the required softwares (CDX for instance), equipments, materials and infrastructure to perform any type of reefer and structure repairs under IICL regulations or the criteria instructed by the owners.
Our services are not limited to container repairs exclusively as in addition to them, we perform pre trips, reefer equipments running control, connection and control on board and electrical power supply if necessary, downloading, trip headers at gate-out ,etc,all these services made during the whole year, twenty four hours a day in any brands and model of equipments.
We have our own repair terminal of about 40.000 square meters with the necessary handling equipment to handle the containers in safety conditions.-
Furthermore our container technicians have done Education and Training courses Worldwide (Thermo King, Carrier, Mitsubishi & Daikin) and already has schedule to attend courses still this year.-
RIN is constantly being developing new targets and, with the feedback from the customers and closer contact with them ,joining the most pro-active staff leads us to have the most added-value services in the market.
